Today, Maryland Air National Guard held a Family Fun Day. Aunt Julie is a M.A.N.G. Staff-Sergeant so she invited us to attend. They had face-painting, balloons, cotton candy and a moon bounce for kids. I'm not old enough for that stuff, yet.
For adults, they had free hamburgers and hotdogs, drinks, the planes were open for people to look inside. They also had special food you could buy, a rock-climbing wall, live bands and demonstrations.
Their fire department was there, too and they let the kids use the hose on a fake model of a house. Mommy and Daddy protected me from the sun with sunscreen and a hat. I had a good time.
