Today was a special day. Miss Jessi is out of town so she asked Mommy to play in the orchestra for her at Mommy's former church. So this morning we all went to Grace Baptist Church. This place is HUGE. It has a nursery just for toddlers and there were at least six other kids in there with me. They had all kinds of fun toys for kids my age. It was pretty neat. Miss Willie came by to see me, too!

After church we went home, ate lunch and took a nap. In the evening we went to Gramma and Grampa's house for dinner with all my cousins. We had a big time playing and eating and playing some more.

Then at night I though Mommy and Daddy were taking me home they took me to a park instead. I thought they were confused because we never go to the park in the dark. I heard some people playing music and singing and I started dancing to the beat in my stroller. The we saw some pretty lights in the sky. Mommy called them "fireworks." I was pretty tired by the time we got home but it was worth it. I had a great day!

Today is *not* Daddy's birthday. Not yet anyway. It's next weekend. But today Gramma, Grampa, Daddy and Mommy went to a baseball game to celebrate Daddy's birthday. He's gonna be 30 years old.

Gramma and Grampa dropped me off at home and picked up Daddy and Mommy to take to the game. I stayed and played with Mom-mom I ate all kinds of yummy food, played outside in my backyard, played on my porch on my water table and showed Mom-mom all my neat toys in my house. She even gave me a bath. We had a lot of fun together.
I'm glad I stayed home because Mommy told me it was really hot and they were sitting in the sun for most of the game. Mommy had the Nationals put up a message for Daddy on the scoreboard. She said the game was a lot of fun because it was close and the Nationals won. Everybody had a great time.

Vacation Bible School

All this week, Mommy and I have been getting up like Daddy does every day. We get breakfast, we get dressed and we go out the door. But we don't go to work like Daddy does, we go to church. This week Mommy is teaching Vacation Bible School with Miss Patty.

I go down to the nursery and watch Blue's Clues for hours. I love it. The helpers give me snack and my DVD player and I'm all set. I don't sit on my bum the whole time. I get up and play and still watch Blue's Clues at the same time. It's great!

Towards the end of VBS each day, Mommy comes down and gets me and brings me upstairs with the big kids. Sometimes I just play on the steps but today I got curious about what was going on. I had fun watching the kids. I'm not too little for VBS! I can do it! I hope Mommy lets me next year!

Every year our church has a big concert outside. They have musicians come and play all kinds of music. This year Mommy and Miss Jessi played their flutes. I've been listening to them practice for several weeks now and I love hear all the music. Mom-mom, Gramma and Grampa came, too! We had a great time of listening to live music and eating yummy food. As you can see in the picture, Grampa took me for a walk in my stroller and I didn't last too long. Everybody's gotta recharge at some point.

Today Gramma and Grampa are coming to take me to the zoo. I'm so exicted. I haven't been to the zoo since last year and I couldn't even walk yet. I can't wait to see all of the animals. I let you know how it goes.

It always seems that around 4:00 I get really, really cranky. Mommy has been putting me in my crib lately for a quick time-out. Sometimes I even fall asleep for a short bit. After I awoke from a quick nap today, Mommy found that I had pulled my bows out and tried to pull out my ponytails. My hair looked like this. She called it, "Franken-hair." Very funny, mom.

Mommy is really tired of Blue's Clues now. She really is trying to keep from turning on the t.v. at all because that's all I want to do is watch Blue's Clues. I have even learned how to turn on the small DVD player by myself. I know what buttons to hit to turn on Blue's Clues. She caught me sitting on the floor of my room watching it while I was waiting for her to change her clothes so we could go outside and play.

It's been pretty warm outside lately. It's getting into the low 90's. Great pool weather! I love playing outside and Mommy said the best part is, there's no t.v.

Mommy didn't want me going to church today in case I could still get other kids sick. She went and taught Sunday School and then came home. In the afternoon we took a trip to the park. I wasn't feeling good in general. I was pretty whiny and wanted to be held a lot. I did play a little with my ball and did a little swinging. But I eventually let my parents know that I was just not in the mood for the park.

They took me to 7-11 and Mommy and I shared a wonderful drink called a "Slurpee." It was so tasty. I was very careful, too. I have had cold drinks before and have learned what it means to have a "brain freeze." Mommy helped me pace myself. It was so good. It definitely helped me to feel a little better.

I'm finally feeling better! I think Mommy and Daddy are sick of watching Blue's Clues and doing laundry. They went to a baseball game tonight. Mommy won a fantasy football game one week last fall. The Raven's gave her tickets to tonight "Ravens Rally" at the Baltimore Orioles Park.

It was the Orioles playing baseball but the Raven's head coach was there to throw out the first pitch. The cheerleaders and pep band were there to get the crowd into the game. Even the Poe Bird was there with the Oriole Bird. I went to Gramma and Grampa's to play and eat with them. Mommy and Daddy got to go out on a date and everybody was happy. Hopefully everybody stays healthy from now on. That was no fun.

I'm still sick and doing lots of yucky poops every couple of hours. All I want to do is sit on Mommy or Daddy's lap and watch t.v. I love the show, "Blue's Clues" but Mommy usually limits how much t.v. I watch. Being sick is a good excuse to watch a lot more t.v.

Well, you know how I told you about Mommy being sick for a couple of days. Well, today Daddy and I got sick. He had to stay home from work and I couldn't go to Aunt Becca's house. Every time I wake up in my bed in the morning or after a nap, I am covered in poop. I don't know why and it's very upsetting. I've been drinking a lot of this special drink called, Pedialyte. Mommy said it will help keep me from getting too dehydrated. At first Mommy thought it might be from me eating too many raisins but Daddy didn't have raisins and he's sick, too. Poor Daddy.

The good news is he got to stay home and play with me in between trips to the bathroom and I got a lot more baths. You know how I love to play in water and I love taking baths. So this was just a good excuse to fit in more bath time! But my butt is getting sore. I hope this stops soon.

Mommy, Daddy and I got up early to go to church. Today was Mommy's first day of teaching Sunday School. She was given the two and three year olds class. I was excited she brought snack because that meant I could have some, too.

I was pretty cranky and didn't want to be in the nursery with the babies. I'm no baby anymore but Mommy said I'm not old enough yet to be with the big kids. Daddy felt bad that I was fussing so much so he took me on a walk so the nursery workers didn't have to listen to me cry.

Once Sunday School was over we went home. Mommy was feeling much better so she got out her flute and began to play. I sat on the floor next to her eating raisins. I love eating raisins out of those cute little boxes. I had three packs of them. It was nice of Mommy to serenade me while I ate.

Happy Birthday, Cora!

Today, I woke up at Gramma and Grampa's house. I had a good breakfast. In the afternoon they took me to Uncle Matt and Aunt Becca's house to celebrate Cora's 2nd birthday. I had fun playing with my cousins again. It was good to see them. Later after we got back to Grampa and Gramma's house, Daddy came to pick me up. I had a lot of fun but I was very happy to see Daddy and excited to see Mommy when I got home, too. Mommy told me that we are going to see my cousins again on Tuesday for a play date! How fun!

Mr. Yuck

Mommy started feeling bad in her tummy last night. She though it was just like Daddy the night before. But when she woke up this morning she was feeling even worse. She had to call Miss Jessi and tell her that she couldn't take care of Caleb today. Then she called Gramma and Grampa who came to get me. I felt bad for Mommy that she was sick but I was excited to go play at Gramma and Grampa's house.

Daddy came home from work early this afternoon to take care of Mommy. She started feeling a little better by tonight but I spent the night with Gramma and Grampa anyway. They love to give me a bath and I like to entertain them so it's a good match.

Snow Crab Legs

Mommy got some snow crab legs for dinner even though we had all that yummy food leftover. They were on sale at Safeway. She put them in the steamer pot and heated them up. She said that one of them didn't sit well with Daddy because he was in the bathroom a long time after dinner. He said that's okay though because they were yummy. I love seafood and that makes Mommy and Daddy happy because they do, too.

What's For Dinner?

So tonight, Daddy came home from work and asked Mommy, "What's for dinner?" The day had gotten a little busy and she hadn't started anything yet. So they decided to put a pizza in the oven. The next thing we know, there's a knock at the door. It's the sweet lady from across the street, Miss Betty.

She invited us over for dinner. Well, Daddy's allergic to her dog so we couldn't go but that nice lady brought dinner over to us. So now we have pizza in the oven AND spaghetti and homemade meatballs. Then there was another knock on the door.

This time it was a man from the census bureau. He was asking about the houses next to us because they're both empty. He was very nice and didn't stay very long. So about the time the pizza is coming out of the oven, Mommy remembers that we had reservations at Chik-fil-a to try their new spicy chicken sandwich before it comes out to the public.

She and Daddy had been looking forward to this event for a while and they only had till 8:00pm to get there and it was already after 7:00pm! So we quick wrapped up all the food, put it in the refrigerator and hopped in the car to drive to Chik-fil-a for our free sandwiches. It was a lot of food at once but that was okay because Mommy then knew what to say when Daddy came home the next day and asked, "What's for dinner?"

The answer was "leftovers."

Today, a man from the electric company came to the house to put in a new box on the wall. Mommy took me outside to play with my water table so we would stay out of his way while he worked. At one point, he called Mommy back in the house to tell her about a problem he was having. She left me alone on the porch for a minute.

When she came back outside, this is how she found me. I know I'm not allowed to get *in* the water table but I just couldn't stop myself when she wasn't looking. Don't you see how much fun I'm having? I didn't mind that I wasn't wearing a bathing suit. I just wanted to splash with my feet. It was so much fun. You should try it sometime.

Happy Memorial Day!

This evening we went to Aunt Faye and Uncle Steve's house for dinner. I got to play in their backyard with my cousins. We brought the water table and pool and Aunt Faye had this great sprinkler that you could sit on and spin. We had so much fun playing in the water. After I got dressed and dried off a little bit, Grampa took me for a walk in my stroller. We had a great time. I had such a busy day today that as soon as we got home, I fell fast asleep. What a great day.

A New Toy in the House

Today, Mommy introduced me to one of the most fascinating things I've seen in my short life. It's called a vacuum cleaner. I was absolutely smitten with it the second I heard her turn it on. I sat and watched as she pushed it back and forth all over the living room floor. This one is made special for pet hair. It really sucks up the dog hair. I enjoyed watching her use it.

When she isn't looking, I sneak up on it and take the attachments off. I like the small ones that I can carry around. She keeps taking them back from me and putting them back on the vacuum. I just wait her out and take them again when she's not looking. I've also learned how to turn it on and off. It's frustrating though because it's never plugged in when I flip the switch.



Mommy said that little girls like me are usually afraid of the loud noise a vacuum makes but not me. I'm just too curious about how stuff works to be scared of it. I mean it's got lights and you can see the dirt swirl around inside it. To me, it's just a new toy in the house.

Today there's not much going on but I'm still having fun because I'm still enjoying all of my water fun! The sprinkler is so neat. Daddy makes it even more fun. Between my water table and my pool, I just can't get enough of water fun. And I STILL get excited when I hear the bathwater running.

Caleb was on vacation so I was really glad to see him today. Daddy came home from work early today for the long Memorial Day weekend. We all went down to the park to play on the playground together. Mostly all we wanted to do is swing. Daddy is really good at pushing us. It was a lot of fun.

Today, my cousins came over to go to the indoor water park but when we got there they wouldn't let us in. So Mommy and Aunt Jocie took us back to my house where we set up a little water fun in our front yard. We had a good time playing and didn't care about the water park at all. What a great time we had! I love playing in water.

I have finally discovered the television. I'm now beginning to understand what they are saying on t.v. and I love dogs, too, so "Blue's Clues" is the perfect show for me. I like to sit, play and eat and watch Blue's Clues. Mommy usually puts it on in the afternoon when I start to get restless waiting for Daddy to come home from work. Blue's Clues is a great show. I hope you can watch it with me sometime.

Today, Caleb went on vacation with his Mommy and Daddy to Vermont. I miss him. He's my buddy.

So Mommy took me to Harris Teeter today because they have a special coupon event going on. We also stopped by Target. Inside they have a Starbucks and Mommy got a special cup like Gramma has. I really like it. I've learned to use it right away.

My New Floor

Mommy and Daddy bought a new thing for my floor. There's letters and numbers on these tiles. It didn't take me very long to figure out how to take it apart. My favorites are "B", "D" and "O" because they have insides that pop out of the letters. I also like the numbers "6", "9" and "0" for the same reason. But more than all of those, the first one I ever pick up is the number "7." Seven is my favorite.

Mommy and Daddy are looking for things for me to do around the house when we're home to help keep me from getting too bored. Last night they bought me a horse. I like my horse. I can jump up and down on it and I can rock back and forth on it. It's a lot of fun.
