My First Pee-Pee in the Potty!
This morning, Mommy thought she'd bring out my potty chair and sit it in the living room. I'm usually interested in just putting toys in it. But today I helped her pull my pjs off and I sat on it. Once I realized I peed I thought Mommy might be upset. I said, "uh oh!" Mommy looked and instead of being upset she was so excited and cheering for me! I can't wait to do more pee-pee in the potty if it's gonna get that kind of reception.

Back to the Fogartys!
Today we traveled to Aunt Jocie and Uncle Louis' house again. Mommy and Daddy wanted to watch football with them and I like playing with my cousins' toys so everybody wins! I even brought my Disney Princess puzzle that Aunt Becky gave me for my birthday to share with my cousin. I mean they always share their toys with me, I thought I'd share with them, too!
I had such a good time but it's been a very busy weekend. Thanksgiving on Thursday, getting a Christmas tree on Friday, going to the book signing on Friday and then visiting Aunt Jocie and Uncle Lou's on Saturday AND Sunday. I'm beat.

Gingerbread Mess
This morning we got up got dressed, Daddy went to Jenny Craig for a little while and then we left to go to visit Aunt Jocie and Uncle Louis. They had all this candy around. Everyone was using it to build gingerbread houses. While they did that I played with all of my cousin's toys.
Mommy and Daddy tried really hard to make a barn for me but the icing wouldn't stiffen. (I think Mommy used too much) and everything fell over. That's okay though I helped them out by sneaking pieces of candy when they weren't looking and eating them! I'm so helpful.

Then we did some dancing in the living room. Uncle Louis put on Christmas music and everybody took turns dancing with everyone else. Verity danced in her princess dress.

Solomons Signing
So after we dragged our tree in the house, we got our coats back on and drove to Annapolis where one of my Mommy's former coworkers was launching her new book. This nice lady, Mrs. Nebbia, wrote her OWN NOVEL! She actually taught my Aunt Jocie in high school. Isn't that neat?
There are going to be a lot of events coming in the future to help sell the book but tonight was the kick-off and it was being held at her house. I loved visiting Mrs. Nebbia's house. She had a whole room dedicated to toys for her grandchildren. I got to play with them, too! I took turns playing and running to Mrs. Nebbia's staircase where I would climb and climb till Daddy could make his way through the room full of people and catch up with me. Being little has it's advantages.
My favorite toy was the little airplane they had. I liked it mostly because it was little. I love little things but most of the time I'm not allowed to have them because people are afraid of little people like me swallowing them. Mommy knows she can trust me so she just keeps an eye on me in case I forget.
Mommy bought a couple of books and Mrs. Nebbia even signed them. Now I understand why people write in books. I might just have to try it myself one day.
If you are interested in buying this book it's available right now online at Solomon'sPuzzle.com. Check it out!

My Parents Are Crazy
Last night, Mommy stayed up all night with Gramma at Sears to help her get a washing machine and dryer. Today is a special shopping day where a lot of stores have really special sales. They had a amazing deal on this washer/dryer set and so Mommy and Gramma waited out in the cold until 3:30 in the morning to get them!
Then just when I thought I've seen everything, we go and bring a TREE in the house. After lunch the three of us bundled up and got in the van for a road trip. We traveled to Gaver's Farm in Mt. Airy, Maryland. I fell asleep on the way there. It took about an hour so that was a good nap for me.
When we got there we looked around there barn. They had pre-cut trees and a little shop with wreaths and things. Then we headed out through a Christmas tree forest! Mommy carried me on her shoulders and Daddy dragged this big metal thing behind him. Mommy and Daddy kept saying to each other, "What do you think about this one?" I thought they were all pretty but I didn't know what they were going to do with it!

Next thing I know, Daddy is sawing off the bottom of it and hauling it on to the big metal cart. We then trekked back up to the barn to pay for it. I enjoyed watching the men take it and shake it and bind it. Then they put it in our VAN! I got to take it home with me!
Once we got home I became even more confused when my parents BROUGHT IT IN THE HOUSE! The put it in a big stand and started filling it with water! I watched very closely to see how Daddy did that.

Then I started to imitate him using a hair brush.

We had to leave the tree decorating for another time because we had to go to Annapolis next! Mommy said there's a lady signing books there. I don't know what that's about but I'm curious. I didn't think things could get any stranger. Signing books...she's so silly... who writes in a book?

Getting Braver
I'm enjoying more climbing. I climb up on my train table and then climb up on my play kitchen. Then I turn around and sit on the dish holder above the sink. It's like my personal throne! :0) Here I am with my necklace on and my scepter, the ball popper, surveying my kingdom.

Happy Thanksgiving!
This week Mommy and Daddy have been really sick. We missed the church's Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday and church on Sunday. Mommy and Daddy have been really tired but they were very happy to go to Gramma and Grampa's for Thanksgiving. Uncle Steve, Aunt Faye and Dad-dad were there, too! We watched some football and I played in there basket like I like to do when I go to visit them.
I ate big yummies and then took a nap while the adults had their dinner.
Later in the evening, I watched t.v. with Grampa and stole...I mean shared some of his snacks.

Looking for the Moon
If you haven't guessed by now, I'm moon crazy! I look for it at night, in the broad daylight, through the clouds and even if it's raining. If I don't see it, then I will call for it "Mooo!" and then look for it. Today Caleb came over and he helped me look for the moon but we didn't find it.
Mommy took us to ToysRUs to get Caleb a swing of his very own to use at our house. Now instead of going to the park, we can do big swinging in our own backyard! Hurray!

In the Mood for a Moon!
Daddy came home from work today and was feeling a little down. He said it was a rough day. I decided I'd cheer him up by showing him my moon! It was out and it wasn't even nighttime yet! We just stared at the moon together for several minutes and it immediately cheered Daddy. Well, it was either the moon or me, but the moon always cheers me up!
Biker Chick
So today Mommy brings my bike up from the basement. Mom-mom bought it last year for me but I'm just now big enough to ride it! My toes can touch the ground and I can push myself forwards and backwards. I just need to ask Santa for a helmet and pads and I will be ready to tear up and down our street!

Gotta Booboo
Mommy and Gramma aren't exactly sure what happened but I got a bad blister from something rubbing my leg. They think it was my tights. Mommy took me to the pediatrician after she found this. It healed up quick but it didn't feel so good at first! My first major booboo other than the black eye I had at Larriland Farms.
Drop and Read Night
Mommy got this crazy idea that we need to turn off all the technology in the house tonight and read. Mommy brought a bunch of my books out and spread them all over the floor. Daddy has a book that he's reading, too! The three of us read for a long time. I kind of liked it. I missed watching more Blue's Clues but I enjoy my books when I'm not distracted by other things. I think it was a good idea and I hope we can do it again! Just not too soon.

Monday is Jenny Craig Day!
Every Monday, Mommy dresses me and we go to Jenny Craig in the morning. She gets weighed-in and then she and her consultant Ms. Gerri, plan her menu for the week and talk about challenges coming up. So what do I do while they're doing all that? Mommy usually brings my DVD player and I watch Blues Clues, of course!

Off for Big Adventure
Today, both Mommy and Daddy are sick. Mommy sent Grampa a text message and asked if he could come get me. Here I am dressed for church and waiting for Grampa. I got to go to Gramma and Grampa's house after church and play for a little while. After a big nap I had some yummy dinner and then they took me home.

Caleb, Take 2!
Today, Caleb came over again! I think he's confused! He never comes on Saturday! I was happy to see him. And guess what we did? Yep, we went to the park again. Daddy got to come with us. Here in the pictures he's helping put on my shoes.
Daddy did a great job of pushing Caleb and I on the swings. We love to swing together. Caleb likes to say "higher!

Caleb also likes to drive the steering wheel!
Then it was time to go home.

Caleb, My Caleb
Today is Friday and that means Caleb comes to visit me! As I'm getting older, it's getting harder and harder for me to share my toys. But for some reason, I don't mind sharing with Caleb.
We are older now and get bored pretty quickly so Mommy takes us to the park! She loves it because she gets to take all kinds of pictures of us and we get to play so it's a win-win!
Here's some more pictures of us at the park today:

Luray Caverns
Today is Veteran's Day and Daddy had off of work so we headed out to Virginia to visit Luray Caverns. I've never been there and Daddy thinks he may have visited once before but he doesn't remember them so it will be like his first time, too! It was a long trip but well worth it! Take a look at just a couple of highlight pictures. To see more, just click one of these pictures and then you can see the rest on Flickr.com! Enjoy!
